A lot of people are making wrong assumptions in this episode.

Is Travis already working with the Andromedans at this point? Yes. He tries talking Servalan into coming on side with his "ambition", appealing to hers, but, apart from getting her ship, he shoots through when he gets no more. I think it's probably an either/or thing. That makes sense, but if he is allied with the Andromedans, surely that means that he knows where Star One is? Or did they get in touch with him somehow? Do you think Servalan suspects he has allies? I think this might be the one thing she doesn't foresee. Have to agree. It would seem it hasn't occurred to her that Travis might have got fed up with being a fall guy for her and has decided to put an end to everything. Maybe her disrespecting his offer was the final straw. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Quote I'm sure she sees that he's fed up, but she wouldn't think he would go that far. But perhaps her presence here suggests that she suspects him of something. She'd be there to use him, especially if she suspected anything. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

If only Blake and Vila had been nicer to the old Sharl . . . Agreed. Though Blake has only seen a bit of what's taking place upstairs. His vaunted caring drops away in the face of HIS ambition. Interesting tents that have dungeons... Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

There's a lot nobody told us going on underground in Gloucestershire... Didn't the Federation know about the Andromedans and erect the minefield to protect themselves from them? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Interesting tents that have dungeons... We take the tent from the nomadic phase, then the rather anachronistic dungeon from the settled phase . . . It;s all good fun. I might be a bit ahead of you ladies, but I thought that was an excellent episode: dense with info; lots of plotting; tempers fraying; hurts aplenty, and another planet thrown into turmoil by Blake, Travis and Servalan.

Yes - I always really enjoy this one, which is why I was surprised to see someone assuming that it was widely hated. But I am really going to have to watch the last three episodes of this series back to back, to try to work out what Travis is up to when. I'm as confused as that wretched Jarriere at present! |

But not the potential extent of it. She's being way too narrow-sighted. It's only in the next ep where she gets narky with Durkim that we begin to see the light dawning. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Yep, great episode. Different enough to be interesting and moves the plot another step ( or giant leap) towards Star One. Thanks for your company yet again. Saturdays wouldn't be the same without you. I don't like Servalan's fur coat, though. Ugly seams and she has to hold it closed. Oh well. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I just assumed she was wearing nothing underneath and hence the need to keep the coat closed. A big old Viking annular brooch would have been just the trick!Saturdays wouldn't be the same without you either. Always look forward to our rewatches. Catch up with you again soon MsVirn.
