There's a lot nobody told us going on underground in Gloucestershire... Didn't the Federation know about the Andromedans and erect the minefield to protect themselves from them? Yes, so Servalan must have known of a threat. But as she has no idea where Star One is she does not know it's anywhere near the Andromedan Galaxy and therefore, doesn't realise the threat. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

I think she knows there's a threat, but doesn't realise how immediate it is. Her mind is set on a) the power Star One represents and b ) not letting Travis (or Blake) get to it before she does. I might be a bit ahead of you ladies, but I thought that was an excellent episode: dense with info; lots of plotting; tempers fraying; hurts aplenty, and another planet thrown into turmoil by Blake, Travis and Servalan.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Yes - I always really enjoy this one, which is why I was surprised to see someone assuming that it was widely hated. But I am really going to have to watch the last three episodes of this series back to back, to try to work out what Travis is up to when. I'm as confused as that wretched Jarriere at present! |

But not the potential extent of it. She's being way too narrow-sighted. It's only in the next ep where she gets narky with Durkim that we begin to see the light dawning. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Have to say I was as confused as Jarriere at that particular plotting. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Yep, great episode. Different enough to be interesting and moves the plot another step ( or giant leap) towards Star One. Thanks for your company yet again. Saturdays wouldn't be the same without you. I don't like Servalan's fur coat, though. Ugly seams and she has to hold it closed. Oh well. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I just assumed she was wearing nothing underneath and hence the need to keep the coat closed. A big old Viking annular brooch would have been just the trick!Saturdays wouldn't be the same without you either. Always look forward to our rewatches. Catch up with you again soon MsVirn. Hope your garden is managing in the dry weather. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.
