Roxy has given up all hope of a cuddle, and gone to stare at the rain. Ours are escaping the heat. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Hello, sorry I'm late, as usual. A miserable day here, pouring with rain. Fortunately, I don't have to go out anytime soon. Hi AnneA. A good day to stay in and watch B7, then. ![]() A very good day. I am currently following on from our late Thursday evening watching of Babylon 5, series 1, and am watching series 2. It has alarming parallels with the current world situation - oddly comforting. |

Egrorian and Pindar are almost painful to watch - an unpleasantly sadistic relationship. |

D11 Orbit. Start time 8.30pm Downunder, 9.30am in the UK. The moral of the story is: never buy a new weapon from a mad scientist, or believe Avon would ever swap Orac for one. What WAS Servalan thinking? I think the object must be to get rid of Egrorian and neutralize the threat of his weapon, but her logic seems typically Byzantine. |

The innuendo in this episode is terrific. I have no idea how any person who was a child when first watching this imagines they understood everything. Actually, I think that about the whole show. It was like watching Bugs Bunny with my father. I always knew he was getting something out of it that we weren't. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

I get the impression that the rest of the crew have distanced themselves from Avon now that he's gone weird and obsessive.

It was like watching Bugs Bunny with my father. I always knew he was getting something out of it that we weren't. I was completely surprised by the subtexts when I started watching again as an adult. But there is enough there without them to satisfy a child. |

I get the impression that the rest of the crew have distanced themselves from Avon now that he's gone weird and obsessive. I think they are becoming increasingly nervous about him. I imagine there might be little conversations taking place in odd corners of the base, behind his back. |

BTW, Servie's dress this week is special. Note how it suddenly sprouts an additional strap after the rather revealing profile a few minutes ago. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I get the impression that the rest of the crew have distanced themselves from Avon now that he's gone weird and obsessive. Do you? Perhaps a little cast adrift rather than distancing themselves. Avon and Vila are actually at the same level of freaked but Avon thinks he's responsible for decision-making and has to be doing things. Obsessed with doing something – anything. Desperation leads to mistakes. Meanwhile, is that a green BT telephone in the background? Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

The casual way Avon holds ORAC rather gives the game away. |

Good on you, Dayna, stating the obvious again. She does a lot of that - moving the plot on to the next point.
