Rewatch Downunder, Saturday 9th December D11 Orbit
M1795537OCVirn
D11 Orbit. Start time 8.30pm Downunder, 9.30am in the UK.

Does the Fleet Warden General think we don't recognise him? Or perhaps he has a twin brother? For me, this episode has some of the most fun dialogue in the whole of B7, what with Egrorian attempting to chat up Servalan, and Vila apparently replacing Pindar as the local whipping boy.
Things do take a rather darker turn later, when Avon proves that his own survival is what matters, no matter what it costs. This rather neatly balances out the silliness of what went before, and makes it an episode you really shouldn't miss.
The moral of the story is: never buy a new weapon from a mad scientist, or believe Avon would ever swap
Orac for one.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Tyce
Um…. How do you do two things at once?

Tyce, you're a woman. Multitasking is what we do.

Hi MSVirn, Tyce. How are you both? Hot enough for you Tyce? Probably should say, after last week, cold enough for you MsVirn?

Hello, Aussies. I gather it's getting a bit too hot for comfort down there? Our snow is mostly gone now, but since this base is in the coldest bit of VIrn, we still have some in places where it was piled up by digging us out.

Sssssh there might be men around, and we sure don’t want to snap them into reality by telling them things don’t happen magically. LOL

I didn't say it was easy. Multitasking is what we do BECAUSE men can't.
Shall we start?

Now that makes a lot more sense than setting up a self-centred scientist to do her dirty work.

We may have to wait for the Production Diary Series D to know the answer.

Will we be alive by then? Trying to afford Series A even with the discount. Sad

Hello, sorry I'm late, as usual. A miserable day here, pouring with rain. Fortunately, I don't have to go out anytime soon.

Three star systems does not seem very far to travel at all. And have they given Egrorian the location of the base? It seems unlikely.

A very good day. I am currently following on from our late Thursday evening watching of Babylon 5, series 1, and am watching series 2. It has alarming parallels with the current world situation - oddly comforting.

Egrorian and Pindar are almost painful to watch - an unpleasantly sadistic relationship.

I think the object must be to get rid of Egrorian and neutralize the threat of his weapon, but her logic seems typically Byzantine.

Even the mention of 'Ma'am' gets Avon going...

The innuendo in this episode is terrific. I have no idea how any person who was a child when first watching this imagines they understood everything. Actually, I think that about the whole show.

It was like watching Bugs Bunny with my father. I always knew he was getting something out of it that we weren't.
