Rewatch Downunder, Saturday 1st February A5 The Web
M1795537OCVirn
It's February, folks! Things are starting to wake up around here. Well, a bit. Presumably the upside-down plants etc are getting a bit tired of all that heat etc etc etc. But here in the UK we can dare to hope that one day, it will be warm again.
These first five episodes are always a bit of a trial for me...ok, they're great stories, but B7 doesn't really get started for me until Servalan turns up. (Still not sure about her sleeves-within-her-sleeves outfit, but at least it showed the costumes dept were trying).
Hope you all have a great week. See you next time!

Have you booked Brian Croucher yet?

Brian has been a busy boy lately. Off photographing the snow in New Orleans.

Is he fit and well?

It would seem so. He turns up at a lot of conventions.

Actually, I got woken about 5 am one weekend by him sending a reply to me about one of his pics on Instagram where he was showing a child in a costume at a convention. I had blamed the parent and he went yeah, the parent was right there.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

It's very savage, isn't it? And yet the whole premise of the episode seems to be the present savagery of the universe out there. There is nothing much kind in it at all, and Blake is really left with nothing much he can do. They fly off knowing that they probably just sped up something that would happen inevitably anyway. Whoops!

Blake says "At least now the Decimas will have a chance." Presumably they now start colonising the planet.

The first series is probably my least-watched. That said, I think all the series are probably duds around episiodes 3 - 5, though I'm sure I can think of some exceptions to that rule, such as "Horizon".

They made Servie demure to begin with. Glad it didn't last.

See you next time MsVirn! Hope things go well for you getting a new car. David actually flew to Brisbane when we got our current one and drove it down to Canberra. Well worth the bother.

Very likely.

Knee pads are in this year, I see.

That sheep looks a bit like one of those WWI horses with the gas masks on.

Those are very cute sheeples. But plastic still ain't good for nobody no-how. They need Driza-bones. In red.

Must add, i've worn plastic macs many a time and even worn some plastic bags to a fancy dress party. I was several kilos lighter afterwards, all the sweat I lost.

This is true. They are adorable sheep. I love all the unusual breeds.

My father-in-law did the same thing, but the other way around, to get a car he wanted. I think he may have even gone down to Victoria for it.

Anyway, I'd better get going. The PC has started locking up while I'm typing. I've had to restart it three times. It's a pain in the Jarriere when it happens, but it's not a constant thing.

Good night Anne, Obsidian, Tyce, Ms Virn (alphabetical). Hope you all have a good week.

I think they're a breed called Kerry Hill. Being cute for the photograph - those macs won't last long once the wearers start galloping about. But that's the point -they're temporary. All the same, biodegragable macs would be better.

My system has had a couple of hiccoughs too. It kept jamming and would then double post my comment. A Horizon thing maybe?

Will talk again soon Joe. Take care.

Kerry Hills. Just googled them. Very cute. I've always been a big fan of the British Rare Breeds associations and love all the different breeds of sheep. Also the rare piggies.
Macs are way better than dead lambs. I can't understand the thinking there. At all.
Thank you for sharing that pic.
