This "down there" looks like a singularly horrid place to go. Someone had fun blowing up weather balloons. Oi, Blake! Don't kick the kids around. Mum will be after you if you don't watch it. I rather like the inflatable house - it is suitably weird. They had one like it one year at the Edinburgh Festival when I was a child. The inflatable building is great! it's very funky. Back in the day in Brisbane there were various art "happenings" that had things like that. The state of the art at the time. My friend Phil once had an inflatable church. He asked a local firm to build one for him. It took ages to inflate, and even longer to pack away, but it did the job. (The local firm went on to become Lakeland (formerly Lakeland Plastics) now one of the big UK kitchenware companies. They started out making plastic coats for lambs!) "You're not sulking, I hope?"

The inflatable building is great! it's very funky. I suppose it could be some type of survival shelter, quick to erect in an emergency. (But the deluxe version with an east wing and a west wing and a jacuzzi-cum-genetics lab.) Jacuzzi.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

The original purpose of the project was to halt the aging process in humans, says the male guardian. Suggesting the Auron are originally from Earth? |

Their science wasn't advanced enough to give Saymon proper limbs... That is a thing. Why could they not have put their consciousness into a body like Geela or Novara's? |

These Decimas must bear some slight passing relationship to Zygons, surely. They are a 'ten function' animal. Presumably their predecessors, the "efficient four function animal" were Quadimas. |

Lambs do NOT need plastic coats. NOBODY needs plastic coats. An inflatable church, though. Hmmm. It's all about the weather. New-born lambs do better with a bit of protection for the first few days, when it's wet and cold, which is most of the time in spring. Temperatures are still in single figures here. It works much the same for people meeting outdoors as well. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

My friend Phil once had an inflatable church. "Put away those tin tacks, Timmy! You're letting the whole church down again!" We had a giant inflatable Santa outside my work a few years ago. We'd find darts in the front grounds every morning. |

Using the same basic genetic form we then increased it to ten functions. The Decimas." |

It works much the same for people meeting outdoors as well. Except that there's no respiration with plastic. Here, where temperatures are also in the single figures in winter, farmers tend to leave the poor little blighters out to die. Eyes nearly popped out of my head years back when a friend with a sheep farm told me about driving around the paddocks picking up all the dead lambs and throwing them in the back of the ute (utility). In the Middle East where the temperatures get awfully bloomin' cold too (you know, snow, rain and all that), a lamb would never, ever, be left out. Lambs are always brought in under shelter. I know which I prefer. And they'd get cute little coats too. I can't see the sense in losing the lambs. Shocking stuff. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

The Decima riot at the end seems a bit too much to me. Instead of being sympathetic to them, It seems overly savage and alienating. Gosh, that new shot of Liberator sailing away at the end looked a bit poor. It didn't look like it was sitting within the space environment, and the movement was jerky. (Arthritic aged stage hands?) |

It's very savage, isn't it? And yet the whole premise of the episode seems to be the present savagery of the universe out there. There is nothing much kind in it at all, and Blake is really left with nothing much he can do. They fly off knowing that they probably just sped up something that would happen inevitably anyway. Whoops! Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.
