My mum thinks the reason Cally and Avon were so cranky with each other this episode is they were in a bit of a lovers’ spat at the time and the events on Auron and Earth were the last straw.

I realize the writer or director wanted to highlight cloning on Auron, but having two sets of twins following each other around or milling around talking to each other doesn't quite set the mood in my opinion.
