Inga must be from Newcastle - it's very cold, but she's wearing an extremely skimpy top. ![]() Underfloor cave heating? My granny (from London) had loads of excellent sayings. One of them was "Where there's no sense, there's no feeling". I say it often of the young things walking around mid-Winter with their midriffs exposed. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Blake's had a haircut, hasn't he. Yes, it's from the haircut point that he starts to become overbearing to the point of tyranny. An interesting theory. Does it apply to others? Cally is the only other one to have a really noticeable haircut. Later, Tarrant's hair just does a Topsy. ![]() ![]() Surely there is a theory to be developed about Soolin's hair? Servalan out-trumps the lot of them. I would have thought that Servalan keeps the hair simple, as a backdrop for the infinite variety of the clothing. The shorter the bossier, apparently, according to Obsidian's theory. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Crimmos - very susceptible to polystyrene boulders. Props did try to make the 'boulders' look like the real rocks, though. A bit. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Crimmos - very susceptible to polystyrene boulders. Props did try to make the 'boulders' look like the real rocks, though. A bit. I thought they did well. And the actors made a great show of heaving them over the edge. Back in high school we had loads of fun in art class making things with polystyrene. We probably poisoned ourselves silly because a lot of the shaping was done by burning it. I'll bet that's how they got the round edges on the boulders, and the streaks. Actually, throwing bits of buddleia is a bit Lou Reed "Vicious, you hit me with a flower, You do it every hour, Baby you're so vicious". Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

So, who still thinks 'Killer' was a dud episode compared with this one?

So, who still thinks 'Killer' was a dud episode compared with this one? I still have that problem with Killer, that question of 'Why did they assume that they were not infected?' It still annoys the hell out of me. But this is not a great episode either. |

I like S3 as well, and S1. Anyway, have a good week everyone. Hope you get paid Anne. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

It's just that I'm being paid by a branch of the Richard III Society, and they only pay in cheques, and each cheque needs two signatures, so it takes time! |

For me, you can't beat the second half of series 4 - although I will admit that the first half is poor. I always think that I don't like series 2 - because I remember episodes like this one - but it's growing on me this time round. When I used to watch the 90s Star Treks and Babylon 5, there was often a noticeable run of poor episodes just after the half-way mark in their long series - that seems to be what we have stumbled upon here. |
