As a teenager, I 'discovered' a Roman Road once. I saw the line of it on a map near a new building development. Went on a Sunday and had a bit of a private 'dig'. nicked a bit of the stone edging. Still have it.

I wish we could have had more of Councillor Joban. He'd be a good foil for Servalan.

Most of them are but they get treated with short shrift by herself and are never seen again, although Kevin Stoney turns up again in Animals as Ardus.

Surprising that Servalan didn't recognise him, really. Even with the eye thing.

What's a tradie?

A tradesperson. Salt of the Earth, as you know.

Oh absolutely. On every politician's lips, but not in their thoughts at all.

Minimal vegetation, i.e. buddleia.

I've never thought Avon lacked emotion. He's just better at controlling it than most. It shows in his actions rather than his face.

Here it's the commercial TV stations (they all belong to the same person) that push men with hammers as the people on whom we should model ourselves. It's to capture viewers. Bum-cracks have almost become fashion statements. Despite the fact that I think Blake is a dangerous zealot. I'd rather stick with him as he has more than one brain cell.

In fact, if anything, he is over-emotional.

Can we keep the politics out of this tale of the proletariat, represented by a Man with a Cause, attempting to overthrow the rightful (ie. wealthier, better armed etc) government, who also control all the media outlets?

This is true. A few fanfics mention it as a THING, but not as an active agent. I gather it was the only way Glynnis could get more variety into her look given the limited costumes in S4, except for Servalan's, of course.
