One thing I like about this episode is that we really get to see Scorpio and the base. It's a pit the base didn't feature in the user's manual. I liked the plans of Scorpio, though.

Yes, how all the rooms relate to each other. Some idea of the layout comes in Warlord.

Yes, that's another good episode for that.

P.S. should have added about Xenon base that I'm fascinated by the Maidenhair fern.

Avon: "You have to do better than that, Orac, if you expect me to kill them."

But then, when Orac reports: "Vila weighs 73 kilos", Avon has nothing to say?

In Orbit, he saw a direct threat to his life. Here I think he believes in ORAC's warnings enough to be suspicious, but not enough to leave Vila and Tarrant to die.

Exactamente.

As a Vila fan, I find 'Orbit' VERY traumatic!

Traumatic, yes, if you're Vila, but Avon patently doesn't WANT hurt him.

It's not a head, it's a jiffied-up motorcycle helmet.

Yes, you're right; she'd be the one to do it. Thankfully those plants are there, otherwise it would be acres of unrelieved grey.

Ah, but Avon doesn't know about motorcycle helmets.

I had boots like Soolin's only they were bronze – bought in one of the blackmarket towns in the mountains on the border of Syria and Lebanon. They have very distinctive folds in the leather.

Finally!
Hello, sorry I'm late. Had a visitor who evidently didn't grasp the importance of B7 rewatches. Where are we? (Does it matter? Servalan's not in it).

Am now wondering what Soolin was doing buying boots in a blackmarket town ont he borders of Syria and Lebanon....

I'm sure my electrical engineer father would have chuckled at Avon climbing that tower and clipping the wires. It's quite funny – plus him chucking the clippers in typical Avon fashion.

Hi, nice to see you! They are just planning to entice the robot out of the base so that they can put its head on.

Yes, I always think 'now you're going to have to spend the next 10 minutes looking for those things'.

The water under the bridge is fair raging. Must have been rain, don't you think Anne Arthur with the Tarrant rain bonnet?

Is it the fact that it can control it that ORAC doesn't like about the robot, I wonder? He likes being the one in charge.

I love it when a meme I've started keeps on giving. Buddleia are fantastic things. As are Prawn Cocktail Pringles. Anyway.... have all the 'magnetic' bombs fallen off yet?

It's cold and wet down by the bridge, but at the hydroelectric generator it's a bright sunny day.

I love Buddleia - we had such a gorgeous one in our front garden for years. Dark purple, scent like warm honey, full of bees and butterflies. Passersby would stop to take pictures (and, I suspect, cuttings). But alas, it's dead now, nowt left but a dried out stump.

But ANIMALS is worth watching because it has Servalan in it. With some great lines, as usual.

There are ludicrous bits, especially the daft android, but it isn't badly written at all, with a fair amount of humour.

Very sad. We had three, all different colours. Only that dark purple remains and it is going great guns.

The nearest is 3 miles away, for a start. And they don't have the same...tanginess.

Dayna and Tarrant are plotting to get rid of the android, and according to ORAC, they are right.
