 Rewatch Downunder: B1 Redemption - Saturday 2nd April

The women on the space station remind me of that weird photo of Donald Trump and, I think, some Saudi dignitaries, with their hands on a glowing dome like that. Will have to look for that one! Update: see what you mean. The Altas are loads sexier, thank goodness. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

How come they don't have visual surveillance of other parts of the ship? Because nobody except MI5 and other spooks had thought of multi-screen CCTV by then. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

There ought to be a rule that in all TV drama, someone, somewhere MUST use the episode title in something they say. Blake muttering 'redemption' would just about count. Better if someone else had picked up on it. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I find it interesting because, while it means exactly what's happening, "redemption" doesn't seem the obvious word: "reclamation" maybe, but "redemption" carries other connotations that I think led to its use in this context. In all the series I've never taken great deal notice of who's wearing what. Just the Liberator is what my attention was focused on.

I wonder who in flies these ships. The Altas don't look like they would need a great wardrobe of clothes, for example. Was there a more 'normal' cadre of pilots, or did they collect the clothes as examples of other civilisations? |
