And again, all this technology, and they use slave labour. It seems very inefficient, somehow. |

[quote name=M1795537OCVirn post=5569]Maybe the station design could feature in the next selection from Obsidian's jewellery? I have an 'Orbit' design which I'm working on that is similar, but I DO need a Redemption necklace. Thanks for the idea! Obsidian that's sounds like a good plan. Go for it & see how u go. I'd be interested in seeing what u come up with. Australia

In all the series I've never taken great deal notice of who's wearing what. Just the Liberator is what my attention was focused on. Probably a wise move. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I wonder who in flies these ships. The Altas don't look like they would need a great wardrobe of clothes, for example. Was there a more 'normal' cadre of pilots, or did they collect the clothes as examples of other civilisations? The latter seems more likely. It's something that has long exercised my mind. It makes me think that the Altas must have been not unlike the Ultras in their interest in other people. Probably in the course of finding slaves. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Yes - these are the discarded clothes of people they have enslaved. I like that (as an explanation, that is!) Edited by AnneArthur on 02-04-2022 09:50 |

Thanks for the idea! I hope you're aiming for a design from each episode! Will you be able to bring some of your stock to Forever Avon? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I need to set aside a month to focus on them alone. PS. There's a laseron destroyer, too, but I don't have the skills to make my idea yet.

Not a particularly exciting episode for the start of a new series, but the company was great! Tyce - look after yourself! Hope you're back on form by next Saturday. Regards to all - hope you have a good week. See you next time. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I hope you're feeling better next time around and let's hope for some typical sunny Canberra Autumn days to ease the agony in the meantime. Mxx Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Hi everybody, finally got a chance to catch up with the thread. Tyce - hope you're feeling better, and that it really is just a cold, not the dreaded Covid? It's absolutely rife in the UK now that all restrictions - I mean, safeguards - have been lifted, and people have given up wearing masks etc. Mrs Bookmark - sorry to have missed you! Hope you'll join us for Shadow. M...Virn - your local rocks are gorgeous. I love the Lake District. Obsidian - those earrings are gorgeous! Pilot53 - my parents visited Melbourne and said it reminded them of Hove! Edited by Travisina on 06-04-2022 06:46 There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

There ought to be a rule that in all TV drama, someone, somewhere MUST use the episode title in something they say. Blake muttering 'redemption' would just about count. Better if someone else had picked up on it. There was a wonderful series years ago called The Beiderbeck Affair (starred James Bolam and Barbara Flynn) in which the episode title was also the first spoken line in each ep, eg: Ep 1: What I don't understand is this... Ep 2: Can anybody join in? etc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bei...cke_Affair I'll have to track it down - years since I saw it, but I remember loving it at the time.
