Avon doesn't describe people as 'dummy' either. Poor scripting for the character. And this mini Orac (never seen or heard of again) is just silly. But fun.

Should we assume that ORAC, having proved the theory of molecular reduction, then refused to reduce its size again? Or did they just forget all about it?

He's trying to sound persuasive to get Vila to go down to Freedom City.

Yes, it is an unexplained omission which could have come in handy later on, or when Vila had to carry it.

But he stays that way to the end when he's smarming Blake. I like it. It should make Blake suspicious but doesn't.

I quite like the idea that ORAC responds to any future suggestion that it should do it with 'I've already proved it - no.'

I like to think that 'Trekkers' are like rich kids on gap years - travelling the universe for years, just for the fun of it.

I prefer to think that the Star Trek franchise is still making spin-offs.

Yes, that's where the name comes from (although everyone seems to use 'Trekkies' now) but that can't be what it means in-universe.

Jarriere really is a powder pouffe. I'm with Travis on this. BTW, the new cat, who loves TV, was patting Travis' face last night.

Maybe she always wanted to be a mad World Dictator's cat? Travis is as near as she's managed. So far.

We'll have real drinks like Pink Asteroids and Corpse Revivers, but none of these will hurt.

Incidentally, I think I come to Blakes 7 as a fan of Star Trek, Babylon 5, etc. - it's a variant on the disparate group of people on a star-ship scenario. But I get the impression that most people here come from the British sci-fi end - from Dr Who etc.
