Blake doing his usual 'I only want you to put me down.' As usual, that won't be all . . .

Yes he would.

Most of them are but they get treated with short shrift by herself and are never seen again, although Kevin Stoney turns up again in Animals as Ardus.

If Avon lacked emotion he couldn't feel the guilt he is currently experiencing.

As a teenager, I 'discovered' a Roman Road once. I saw the line of it on a map near a new building development. Went on a Sunday and had a bit of a private 'dig'. nicked a bit of the stone edging. Still have it.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

I do find Servalan hiding her drinking in this episode odd. It suggests an alcohol problem, but if so we never see it again.

Surprising that Servalan didn't recognise him, really. Even with the eye thing.

Oh absolutely. On every politician's lips, but not in their thoughts at all.

Minimal vegetation, i.e. buddleia.

I've never thought Avon lacked emotion. He's just better at controlling it than most. It shows in his actions rather than his face.

Here it's the commercial TV stations (they all belong to the same person) that push men with hammers as the people on whom we should model ourselves. It's to capture viewers. Bum-cracks have almost become fashion statements. Despite the fact that I think Blake is a dangerous zealot. I'd rather stick with him as he has more than one brain cell.

In fact, if anything, he is over-emotional.

Yes, in the papers here too (many owned by the same person as yours) and by the politicians - presented as having a native wisdom that the over-educated elites don't understand.

Can we keep the politics out of this tale of the proletariat, represented by a Man with a Cause, attempting to overthrow the rightful (ie. wealthier, better armed etc) government, who also control all the media outlets?

I suggested once that Blake had a Samson thing going. Travisina suggested I write the fanfic. Well, it's sketched out in a notebook but got no further.

But, as we learned from Counsellor Joban, they can't stop the people talking.
