Hi all. Sorry I'm late. I must confess to rather liking this episode - partly because I find the decimas rather sweet, and partly because of the insight it gives us into the more unpleasant side of the Auronar.

Hi Anne. Cally's gone funny. She's propositioned Avon. "I'm interested in your work." What a line!

Did seem to work though!

Yes. LOL

Geela and Novara are beautiful. I love their outfits and the whole silvery 'look' but imagine it was all horrible to wear: instant assistance in building cool characters.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Is Cally influencing Avon telepathically here. He does seem to be uncharacteristically stupid.

(Hi Anne),
I think so - look how angry he is with her afterwards.

That's what I think. Another power she seems to lose later.

“It’s slow, you should appreciate that problem.” I don’t insult!

The most endearing thing about Avon, IMO, is that he is a much better person than he thinks he is, or would like to be.

Very snarky but goes nowhere, which is partly the point.

It was the extra power she had from the Ultras

"This boy don't need a judge, he needs an analyst's care". One of my favourite lines from a favourite (since I was about 3) musical.

That's true of several - except perhaps Blake or Tarrant.

That's awful stitching on the decorative bits around Jenna's neckline. Very lumpy.

Both Blake's and Gan's outfits in this are fascinating. I'd love a close-up look at that netting.

Agreed. It's probably whatever nasty stuff (dacron) was used as stuffing.

I’m assuming most of the Decima are children rather than Dwafts??

This would be so GOOD without the horrible Saymon in a bottle thing. Everything is excellent – script, props, squeeky people.

Interesting that the first time we see the decimas they are distinctly threatening - we are being completely misled here.

What am I? Chopped liver? I always think that when Geela puts the tissue culture on Blake.

That 'Angel Hair' fluffy stuff is awful to handle - and to get rid of. Must have taken ages to dress and undress the set.

She puts a bit of steak on Blakes hand and it’s repaired. LOL

Sorry, Novara is the male. They would both make good elves, I think.

It's wise to count anything one doesn't recognise/understand as a possible threat. As Our Wise Leader says, 'Never assume anything...' Novara knows what those pesky Decimas can do when they start. They attack one's hearing, mostly.

Yes, that's how different ethnicities were built and reinforced: fear and suspicion of the other. Has stood us all in good stead for about 16,000 years.

All six of them are in that one body. What would happen if they had an argument? Would he get one really bad headache?

Perhaps they all think as one? Something of a weakness, I would think.
