Both the old Soviet Navy and some units in the Third Reich had a 'political officer' who reported to the regime, not the military. I wonder if the Federation does the same, and if Leylan suspects Raiker might be such a plant. Possibly I plan to live forever,or die trying.

Raiker is such a great character. The actor absolutely got him. The voice changes as he reacts then manipulates, a great physicality too. He was good as Jonny Briggs' dad too! Now I'll be hearing the Johnny Briggs feem toon everytime Raiker apoears. Thanks TT... Just imagine it when he's being jettisoned into space!
