Rewatch Downunder Saturday 17th February A7 Mission to Destiny
M1795537OCVirn
Starting at 8.30pm if you're Downunder, which is 09.30am if you're in the UK.

A7 Mission to Destiny.
It's difficult to describe this episode. Lovers of whodunnits will think it's brilliant. while B7 fans will lovingly recognise the many plot holes. For reasons best known to himself, Blake gets himself - and therefore the rest of his crew - involved in someone else's murder mystery. Unfortunately, he didn't play CLUEDO as a child and never works out what's going on.
The rest of the crew are left to a) solve the cryptic message and b ) pick up the pieces. Join us to see if you can spot the massive CLUE that everyone else misses.

Hello, and I hope you've all put your thinking caps on for this one. Who could the murderer be??? Well, Blake's been responsible - directly and indirectly - for a lot of deaths already (and we're only seven episodes in) so I think he'd be the chief suspect.

Hi everyone, how are you?

Fine, thanks Tyce. And what about you? How is your mother doing now?

Hi folks. Just been out trying to save some of our apples and crab apples from marauding feathered and furred critters. We don't mind sharing but there is a limit. Still one-and-a-half trees to go.

How are you?
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Howdy, Obsidian. Good to have you here. What sort of critters, exactly? Almost time to get started...

Yup. All newbies. None of them contributing to the Forum - at least, not yet. Such a pity.

I understand your pain. They love my beautiful Moorpark apricots too. It’s a real nuisance to cover the damn tree every year, but I have to because even though I (like you) am happy to share the birds and possums aren’t.

WOW. The most exotic thing flying around here are the Wood Pigeons. They look thick and sound boring.

The best thing about this episode is the sound. Music and SFX combined. Lots of tension and menace. Unlike the script. And most of the acting.

We have them too, but they don't get a look-in on fruit. They get the seeds of the Chinese Pistachio after the cockatoos and gang-gangs have been in there.

Hello everyone. I got a new extension lead last week, and everything has been working fine since, so I can join you this week. Blake and Jenna have just picked up the Ortega on their instruments.

I have a new Internet provider and unfortunately my speed seems to be really really slow but I don’t know why since I didn’t sign up to slow speed service anyway I’m just giving you the heads up because I don’t know how much I’ll be able to post tonight.

Hi Anne, glad you sorted the electrical problem.

Tyce - just do your best! You probably know most of it by heart anyway.

I know it doesn't appeal to your icy Federation logic, Ms Virn, but I admire Blake for going to the aid of a ship in distress. What is more interesting is that for once Avon doesn't put up any resistance.

I always get it as SONO. Would have to check the script.

I'm not against any citizen helping others, but Blake is a wanted criminal.

I don't rate Mr. Muir, I have to say. It's definitely not 'solo'.

If Avon, as a mathematician, hadn't been the first to look at the bloody clue, the whole thing would have been resolved immediately.

It's because mathematicians see and dream in numbers. Probably anyone else would have worked it out straight away, and we only partly see it.
