Wow. Jacks was SO young. And brilliant. Sorry you can't see this, Anne. she's just told Bercol and Rontane she's appointed Travis to SLD Blake.

I suppose it's the world as it is now. If you were remaking x, who would you cast as y is a popular game.

And if we are thinking in terms of PGP, which we all seem to be, we are probably as guilty of it as anyone. We can see how technology has moved on, and we decide how to accommodate that.

It's awful, really, because of the idiot people who are chosen to fill those roles. Interestingly, a lot of them are way too old, which tends to tell us something about the upcoming "talent".

I wouldn't want to make the technology too much like now because it defeats the whole 'futuristic' notion. As you said before, there needs to be a reason why the technology isn't as 'advanced'. Very few people have any concept that civilisations in the true sense (i.e., having cities) have risen and fallen and that some advanced technologies have been lost or not built on. It's all about need, and if a culture doesn't require something, it doesn't retain or develop it. I can easily see that, but haven't yet thought of the way to approach it.

Yes, she looks like such a sweet young thing, but then she speaks in such sweet imperatives and manipulative strains. Poor Rai. I will finish his story eventually.

And now she's sorting out Rai. She flirts, he is negative about Travis. End of friendship. Possibly end of Rai.

All I can see right now is his tush, but this guy is clearly someone.

Hmm, another young, young, sweet thing really, under all that black clobber.

I suppose I was thinking of the reboot of Battlestar Galactica, where they decided that complex computer systems would be too easy for the Cylons to take over.

Looking forward to your story and knowing what happens to him.

Probably the end of Rai's career, but I don't think she would be so cavalier with officers - especially not young and good-looking ones.

Fortunately, B7 hasn't got far enough out of this galaxy to worry about Cylons.

Oh yes. I didn't really like the new BSG - I certainly didn't rave about it the way many people seemed to - but it is interesting to see how it handled the problem.

She'd find a way. Or wait till she was President. I don't think she'd forget. He knows too much about her.

Servalan seems to take exception to his eyepatch - hasn't she seen him since he had it 'done'?

Ready for that clever bit of direction where the dialogue switches from Travis to Blake?

Talking about how to handle something, I've got a rock for Travis' laseron destroyer, but how to do the ring is bothersome. Ring 1 or Ring 2? Haven't decided yet.

Speaking of new members, I see that the newest one is called Timelord - we do seem to get a lot of Dr who fans who think they might be into Blake's 7 as something from the same stable.

This one is clearly a ring made out of some kind of modelling clay. Precious metal clay seems the obvious medium to use, but making rings – ugh!

So few of the newbies actually contribute to the Forum. Such a pity - for them. Perhaps it's because we use more words here than images (see earlier).

It's clearly a separate feature even if it is meant to be part of his weaponry. It has been made as a piece of jewellery.

I am always sorry they never used the University of York as a set - it would have been perfect. I can just imagine Servalan striding across those bridges.
