I was wearing my Avon belt today, the one I had made specially by a bloke in the USA. Wore at Steventon last year. What to do for next year? Ugly eyepatch in memory of Travis 1? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I would have hated to be the person who got to clean all the claggy lime dust off everyone's boots.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Funny how it sounds so windy, but nothing moves. I just saw some weeds waving. Bit like on Virn, sounds like wind but isn't. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

THis Avon/Servalan exchange has to be the best in B7!! It's very good. How you deal with Avon - flatter him that he's the only person in the universe who understands you. |

Come on, Keiller. Stop moaning about getting left. Bletchley's not all that far to walk.

I think at the start of that scene it's possible to see civilisation(?) over in the distance and then the dust wafts in in front of it. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

OK, I'm going to see how deep the snow is now - it's still coming. Good thing my other half walked to work today - the roads are going to be nasty if it goes on like this. (They will grit/plough them eventually, but we're not high on the priorities list, out here in the sticks). Great episode, great company. Hope you have a good week, everyone. See you soon. Do you not think that ORAC was watching the markets? There would have been no point in Servalan's actions if they had been knowable in advance, even by ORAC. |

Do you not think that ORAC was watching the markets? There would have been no point in Servalan's actions if they had been knowable in advance, even by ORAC. I think that, crucially, Avon has had in his hands, since the end of S1/A, the means of bringing down the Federation by destroying the economy. Yet he has never once tried. A bit of an oversight. ORAC's capabilities are never fully utilised, possibly because the writers hadn't really thought of HOW a computer might be utilised and because, if they were, the show would be over tout de suite. I think we have to believe that ORAC has the capacity to keep a finger on the pulse of economic rumblings, so to speak, but that the organics, apart from Servalan, aren't canny or duplicitous enough to keep on top of all the games that might be played. That's what keeps the show running and, now, running down. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.
