I love the banter between Belkov and Servie. They do it so well.

Yes, it’s brilliant isn’t it?

Two excellent actors.

Sadly, that kind of thing hasn't been happening in my house for the last few years. Good for you!

The power of pure evil. And yes, I do like this episode - very much indeed.

I wonder how much of it was the original script and how much they adapted it between them.

Those grey shuttlecock things look interesting. Are they meant to be for ventilation, do you think?

It's another thing that is good about these last episodes - some excellent guest stars.

I still can’t believe Michael Keating has dementia. It can’t be real. :-( :-( :-(

I know. I don't think Covid helped at all. Glad that I got to talk to him briefly during that time.

Yes, the last few years. After he had Covid early on he seemed to be in a bad way. His wife, Sue, was doing a lot of prompting when he was part of a Zoom convention. Now, from what the remaining others are saying, he's a lot worse.

But she (Servalan) would die rather than admit it. It's part of her mystique.

Yes, Michael had it in the first year and wasn't well at all. He did manage to sign a photos for the convention. No idea how Ian Kubiak managed that. Lots of help from Sue I suspect. The long-term effects seem dire.

But it's such a good signifier - even if whatever the Mecronian religion was had nothing to do with Pope Gregory's followers.

It would be fun to see them given, say, a cookery challenge, or a game of twister . . .
