Rewatch Downunder Saturday 4th March Breakdown

Sorry this thread is so late - forgot what day it was.

So - does anything happen in this one? Oh, yes. Gan gets a headache and yet nobody is taken over by aliens.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Ha - great minds! I've just started the thread as well. I'll delete mine and go with yours xx

It's so cold - we're even expecting snow down south tomorrow. Sad
The daffodils and crocuses (croci?) are shivering. As am I.

Yes Break down would have to be one of my favourite episodes. Poor Gan with that faulty implant inhibitor.

Hi Obsidian,

I'm here in theory - joining for the chat, but multi-tasking so won't actually be watching the ep. I know it by heart, anyway!

Hi Pilot,

Poor Gan - it's the episode in which he gets centre stage, and spends most of it unconscious! I think he only has about 6 lines (not including grunting and growling).

Glad you can be here Travisina even if you're feeling cold. We're having Summer at last. Daffodils and crocuses won't be unhappy with snow. Ours barely last anymore.

Did you have a good trip?

I've just started.

Hi Tyce!
My sister-in-law went to see ABBA Voyage last week, and I'm jealous! I want to go again! She said it was so funny afterwards, people going into the bar across the road where the DJ was playing ABBA hits - they walk in and immediately start dancing! She filmed some of them, and it's true. I did it myself! Grin

I've just started.

I had a lovely trip to Israel - but it was SO COLD THERE AS WELL! Storm Barbara, with torrential rain, sleet and freezing temperatures. And of course the central heating broke down in my Mum's retirement home, so the shop across the road did a roaring trade in hot water bottles.
Oh, and we got part of the Turkish/Syrian earthquake. Approx 5.8 in Jerusalem, swayed the buildings, though no real damage. And then several smaller earthquakes of our own, over the next few days, mainly down the Jordan rift valley. Felt quite Biblical, with all that going on.

Hi everyone - sorry I'm so appallingly late. I'm also sorry for Gan - I wish he'd had a better episode than this to be centre stage in. I think he's driving, Obsidian, because no-one else can be bothered - Gan is always very obliging about helping out.

I think it was Vila, actually. Avon was having a guided tour of XK-72 and trying to decide whether he wanted to jump ship, so to speak.

You have daffodils and crocus in the south? Here in the wild North Virn's daffodils haven't woken up yet , but the snowdrops are looking good.
