What is this "real time" they keep mentioning in relation to speed? Compared to warp drive,standard,hyper space ,worm hole etc I plan to live forever,or die trying.

What is this "real time" they keep mentioning in relation to speed? It's a sort of a tender subject. They can go a certain speed in real time and then another speed at time distort. I can't explain further than somehow ships can distort time to go faster?? Resist the Host

Time warps (and/or worm holes) are the hypothetical result of imagining the space-time continuum being like a curved surface. If you can cut across/through it in straight lines instead of following the curve, you can travel faster between two 'points'. Hence it distorts time as such. Broadly speaking. So yes it can be done ,just not now I plan to live forever,or die trying.

Just had a quick look at all the comments.I had a lovely meal with Grandson and his young lady.. He asked if I didn't mind missing the rewatch. What's a rewatch? asks she. So Joe explained . What's Blake's 7? And Joe explained that. I've never heard of it, says she. Well she is only 20... So Joe said she might be able to watch an episode or 2 when they get back home... This should be interesting.... Anyway, I'm glad that you all had a thoroughly good time watching this excellent episode and next week it's even better...as long as One Spare Part remembers to put the correct DVD in....
