Rewatch Australia: D3 Traitor
Saturday 15th October 2022, 10.30am (UK) / 8.30pm (Australia)

In which everybody wears everybody else's costumes (how many can you spot?), there are some great fight scenes, and there's a return of... sh... you know who...
There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

Just trying to re call this episode?
Darn I'm way,way too early yet again.
Trust me to be early. I tried to get onto other members here took the liberty of inviting them to join in but no takers, think they may have other plans.
Hope all are well, Tyce are you ok with the N.S.W. floods? Saw the floods on the news, most of Victoria is suffering severe floods & over 1200 homes & businesses are affected as well as live stock.
Here where I live we've only had medium rain fall no where near as our interstate counterparts.
See you all soon....
I'll be back!

Hi Pilot! Yes, early again. I can't really remember Traitor either, except that Servalan's in it. Almost time - how much do you bet we have to wait 5 mins for the rest to catch up?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Hi everyone. Apologies for going AWOL. I was in Turkey visiting Syrian refugee friends and having a fun time at the World Nomad Games amongst other things.

How have you all been?

Glad to hear that all is well your way Pilot53.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

I'm one of the odd people who likes this episode. It provides a direction for the rest of the series and yes, Servalan is back, meaner than ever.

YAY! Obsidian is back!
Meanwhile, I'm authorised to send Travisina's apologies again - she's still feeling the effects of her 'flu jab earlier this week, as well as her usual busy-ness. Get better soon, Boss!

Sorry to hear that Travisna. Do people have bad effects from flu jabs? Never heard of that before. Something to look forward to, I guess. Take care of yourself.

Well apart from the ABBA festival being cancelled because Trundle is under water, I’m good. In fact it actually sunny here in Canberra.

That’s sad. I hope she recovers from it soon.

Flu jabs tend to give some unfortunates a few days feeling as if you have flu - your immune system reactiing to the vaccine, I suppose.

Nice to see you back Obsidian! I think the flu jab is quite a severe one this year - I've heard of several people getting side effecte. Although a lot of them seem to be people who have had flu jabs and covid jabs at the same time - that seems to be a big mistake.

Yeah I’ve had bad effects from the flu jabs before. in my case it was mostly just really bad muscle soreness.

Sorry I'm late. Testing negative for covid for some days now - hooray! And I've got a working fridge, shower and washing machine now. I just need to get a plumber to fix my leaky tap - which is proving harder than you would think. They all seem to be booked up for weeks.

Anyone else feeling under-dressed without a black eye-patch on their left eye?

PS. MsVirn, I keep waiting for "Wazis" in THE WORD.

Hi, Anne!

I've decided not to tell Travisina that had my flu jab, too, but had absolutely no reaction whatsoever, not even a sore arm. (Shh!) I think people who have 'flu and Covid jabs at the same time - as she did - might feel it more, though.

Excellent suggestion. But you have to be in it to win it. HInt.

So what's all this about wearing other peoples' costumes, then? Presumably BBC cutting back on funds, as usual.

Nope thank goodness. It has rained here continuously for the last few weeks but at least it wasn’t heavy enough to cause any serious flooding (except perhaps in Queanbeyan which is probably about 30 minutes away but even there, there’s not been lots of life or anything really horrid thank goodness). The last couple of days it has rained over night but been quite sunny during the day.

I like this episode - it's much the best one in the first half of series 4, I think. A lot of nice details.

That’s good to hear (except a bit about the plumber).

Tarrant has about as much subtlety as a Tarsian warg-strangler.

They do if the syringe is labelled 'Pylene 50'.

"Stock Equalisation Act" is a good one. Sounds like something tabled in opposition to The White Australia Policy. It kind of assumes that we haven't all melting-potted to a big mush by this stage.

Tarrant is brave, young, handsome - there are three good reasons for anyone not to like him.

It's the basis of my theory that after it was repealed the Empire ethnically cleansed the non-white populations (to Komm and Heriol, for example). The Federation is not openly racist and a few came back - but not many.

Down here they’ve started giving the flu and Covid in one jab. I’m guessing you can probably get them separately and a couple of weeks apart if you ask but for the most part they are now one jab.

This is the only episode where we see someone smoking - an eccentricity at this period, I think.
