Why would these two dimwits – Tarrant and Dayna – believe a Federation officer? Hunda might, but these two ought to have learned by now.

As a good double agent, he will have proved himself to Hunda and his men by giving them enough useful iinformation for them to trust him.

As I said, Hunda might be convinced, but the others ought to have learned that the only good Fed is a dead Fed.

Agreed. Although Tarrant might have a subconscious thing going on about that, since he was one not long ago.

So they should perhaps have suspected that Forbus's antidote was nothing of the kind? I think there must be many other episodes where our heroes have gone along with what rebel groups have told them - why pick on this one?

Stay safe and well MsVirn, AnneArthur. I hope the sunny weather continues for you. So much rain elsewhere on the planet. It's about to hit Australia, too. I think we'll miss it though.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

OK, still no sign of my delivery, and no message about it either. I'm past caring, really. I'll let you know if I ever get it - or a refund. Bye, folks. Be kind to yourselves this week.

I like the way Avon does a bit of mental rearranging - like a computer editing its files - Servalan isn't dead: he feeds the new fact through his head, thinks it through, adjusts, and says 'All right ...'

Me too. He doesn't have a meltdown.

I don't know - to me it suggests how much he is now damaged by what he has gone through. He isn't reacting normally any more.

Trusting a Federation officer is way beyond trusting Hunda and his group or trusting Forbus.

Nice to see you all. Sorry about the package, Ms Virn - hope it turns up. This was the high point of the first half of the series for me - the next couple of episodes are a definite downturn.

Anyway, have a good week, everyone!

He's damaged alright. After all, he was hit over the head several times last week. His statement of having to kill Servalan himself is the deranged bit, but the processing is still operating fairly straightforwardly.
