Sadly, for Paula, no mention of the Ginger Mercenary that she's interested in, though...

PS Huggy, what are your thoughts on this one of which Cygnus Bazza is a huge fan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejQ0N...jQ0N2SMZNA

It's better in the original Klingon.

Deary me! However, while it was cringeworthy enough, it got even worse:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqWc5...qWc5FABmDY

While it may sound incredible, there is even a connection to Jethro Tull. Not only did Ian Anderson use the studio owned by Leslie Mandoki of Dschingis Khan fame; during the Covid years, they also did a song together:

At that time I wondered whether there would be a new album, "Jethro Tull plays the music of Dschingis Khan"...

Boaty and Chef to win with the "Om" song?

I'd rather have Songs from the Wood. They'll make you feel much better, you know...

Do we think Boaty & Chef are going to somehow accidentally find themselves on stage, after a series of mishaps that contrive to produce a costume, and so have to improvise a song -- that then wins?

Yes, that was my predicition too. And hopefully with the Om song, which Eurovision would love...

There was nothing in the news about the events from episode 1022. I guess that means that the story is now set in a parallel universe.

To paraphrase Richard Daley, mayor of Chicago during the 1968 Democratic Convention Riots, 'Boaty and Chef aren't there to create havoc, they are there to preserve havoc,'

To save you time googling, what the mayor actually said on live TV, in response to charges of police brutality, "You've got it wrong. The (Chicago) police aren't' there to create disorder, they are there to preserve disorder."

Well, the mayor was not known for his eloquence, and it was a long time ago. And in my many trips to Chicago from the mid 70's on, I have fount the CPD to be nothing but professional, courteous, and helpful.

In the immortal words of Zaphod Beeblebrox, when it gets to the point where the obvious thought is that a T-Rex is going to burst out of a time bubble and terrorise the Eurovision Song Competition, then "It's time to put your analyst on danger money, baby!"

Or they just thought a dinosaur running amok was nothing out of the unusual during Eurovision.

It's a shame there wasn't a dinosaur running amok during the UK entry - our dire song might have got more votes. After the high of Sam Ryder, the UK have gone back to putting in any old rubbish into the ESC.

Exactly. The Bulgarian coordinator said he wanted to change the song, but after seeing it performed by THAT dinosaur, he completely changed his mind. So tough luck for your coordinator when picking the performer - "Bangaranga" performed by Og would’ve been next-level crazy.

There are 1023 moves to the Trilogic game and the Doctor defeats the Toymaker by imitating the Toymaker's voice and saying "Go To Move 1023" while he, Steven and Dodo escape in the TARDIS, while the Toymaker's domain is destroyed.

In my imagination, the Toymaker is hiding behind the controls in episode 1023 or maybe the bushes in episode 1024 Wink

Originally, I had planned to let him consult a tour guide or at least a map in the last two episodes (explaining also how he knew that they were headed in the direction of Schönbrunn zoo). But I had to cram a lot of dialogue in the panels and was running out of time, so I gave up on that detail - thus leading to a completely out-of-character moment for Boaty!
