Being shown tonight on Sky Arts At 23.50 With Julian Glover Gareth Thomas & Barbara Shelley As Mentioned In A Previous Post Reply Not forgetting Blake the Builder at the start of the film. I first saw this film at an equally late hour on TV years ago....and the poor continuity chap wasn't very happy about going home in the dark after the film while us viewers were able to go upstairs and snuggle down in our beds! Fave bits? The part where they walk round the old houses in Hobbs Lane...that poor policeman. Mr Duncan Lamont (who was going to be in B7 as Blake's father's brother (yes that one) in Hostage), saying "Where was Moses when the lights went out?" "In the dark!" Said Mr Lamont saying "Jumping! Leaping!!" And, of course, Mr Glover melting so beautifully.... Cold! You don't know the meaning of the word cold! Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of your window!! That film is a favorite of ours. It's so spooky- the alien Martian shimmering in the sky.
