Rewatch Downunder Saturday 19th Ogtober D3 Traitor
M1795537OCVirn
Starting at 8.30pm Downunder and 10.30am in the UK.

D3 Traitor
Who is the traitor, then? We're finally back from the nuts and berries of Xenon and thrown into a planet with rather more civilised problems. Not that our heroes are likely to solve any of them, but they do discover some unwelcome news, not least that the Federation has taken Helotrix, where the rebels thought they had the upper hand.
Note: not all drugs are bad, taken as per prescription, and even poor art should be respected, not given the treatment we see here. (Unless, of course, it is in itself disrespectful, since it's not even a good likeness. And badly hung. In the wrong place at the wrong time. Sometimes, the only thing to do is put it out of its misery).
But I repeat - who is the traitor?
Also, they stole the swimming into the city idea from Dr Who and the Daleks.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Hi people, how are you all? Just letting you know I’m having connection issues today, so I’m not sure if I manage to keep linked in during the rewatch.

Hooray! Clips from Confederation. I was in Melbourne just a week before, seeing my then-supervisor. If only I'd known I would have stayed around.

Hi all. How are you?

As for the Traitor, I'd have thought it was the double agent.

Hello, Tyce. Sorry to hear your connectivity is poor today. Blame solar flare/cme activity, perhaps. Hope you can still enjoy the rewatch!
Yesterday I had to have a severe word with my pc, because it went to bluescreen, for no apparent reason. Got it back, eventually, but it was unrepentant. I've noticed that Orac never accepts any responsibility for all the trouble it causes. The machines seem to be against us sometimes.

I’ve switched off Wi-Fi and I’m using my data, hopefully that works.

I've had it on video tape for years. I finally got around to getting it digitised.

G'day, Obsidian. I think the traitor was whoever painted that portrait of Servalan, tbh. Should have commissioned Lurena.

It should all be fixed when this new SkyNet thing they're talking about is up and running.

Fan art. Can't count on it. Though I just bought some more of it. Old stuff.

But I very much like this episode because it moves things along and sets the scene for the 4th series.

Yes and as we used to joke about in the 80s, they’re all in the same union, in other words, one out all out!

Hello everyone. Just started. Sorry I wasn't around on Thursday, Ms Virn - another meeting-that-really-could-have-been-an-email at church. And worse, I have agreed to help at a children's craft session on the morning of December 7th. Which episode will I be missing for that delight?

Technology - when it works, it's great. When it doesn't, it's a total pain and you end up with headless androids stalking you.

Yes, but is Sector Four worth having, I wonder? What kind of zoning did the Feds use, anyway? Is Sector one around Earth, for example?

You'd think Hunda would give them guns to fight with instead.

(It took me a minute to realise you meant deadly Dudley. I hadn't realised we'd started. Catching up...)

There's a map in one of the Horizon Newsletters.

Oh, and for those doubting how good the bar ware is from B7, the officers are currently supping from Waterford crystal.

Well, of course. Her officers deserve the best.

Which one? Nick Brimble? The extreme makeup on the guy's sidebars especially is rather cute, I find. Eighties makeup was on its way in, quite definitely.

I have just been going through it, and I think it's Gold. I had initially though Sand, which would really have annoyed me. But they are all good episodes at that point, and all a miss.

Yes, how they're behaving and reconfiguring their allegiances post the Intergalactic War.

When Waterford crystal was real, not made in S.E. Asia.

Any chance of it being online anywhere? I would love to know how the Federation zoning system works - I've never been able to make out a satisfactory scheme.

Swimming in under the reactors, which Dr Who was it that they borrowed from? Would it also have been a Robert Holmes script?

There was an old Australian fanfic called "Prime Attack", released by Rosie Peck's "Aftermath" fan club in Adelaide. The fellow who wrote that did a sort of 3D B7 map too. He had Earth in Sector One I think.
