Rewatch Downunder Saturday 14th September C11 Moloch
M1795537OCVirn
Start times are 7.30pm Downunder and 10.30am UK (BST).

C11 Moloch
In another of Series C's slapstick episodes, we learn of Section Leader Grose's pecadillos, Vila's new BFF (both of them) and Tarrant's total lack of people skills (again).
Meanwhile, Avon eats a green apple, a mouse has an out-of-body experience, and the props department do their best to portray what a computer thinks humanity will look like in the future. Thankfully, nobody consulted Orac, but spoiler alert: it's not pretty.
Meanwhile, Servalan gets away with 'hiding' in plain sight behind some buddleia. Enjoy.

‘Thankfully’ they didn’t consult Orac?? Perhaps consulting Orac about what humanity would look like in the future is exactly what they needed to do LOL

Really? Given Orac's known tendency to keep trying to ingore/criticise/accidentally send humans into deadly situations? Hi, Tyce!

Aren't we all, in some small way, Moloch?

True but the Moloch computer didn’t do a very good job either.

Starting! Because if I don't it's going to switch itself off and I'm going to have to go through all the setting it up again

I am keeping up, I’m just stating the fact that Moloch is probably my least favourite episode. And since I was interstate when Rumours of Death and Sarcophagus were being re-watched, I’m thinking a trade might be good. LOL

If you look carefully, I'm not blaming anyone but the props people.

Fine, thanks. And you? (I mean, yes, we're having to watch Moloch, but there's a good bit with Servalan later on).

I love Vila’s somersault.

I might turn off for the final scene when it kisses Avon.

We’re a little light on for re-watches today.

Sorry, I forgot to give AnneA's apologies: she has an appointment in Cambridge today, and Obsidian's somewhere in the desert wastes of Asia, making cheese.

M1795537OCVirn
At least Orac, like Avon, respects Vila's skills.
Meanwhile Tarrant starts bullying people again. He'd make a great Federation Captain....oh.

Oh ok. Hopefully AA appointment goes well and I hopefully Obsidian is having fun.

Yay! Doran!!

Also, this ep has a better song than Sarcophagus.

Poor Avon still gets a sore arm (is it the same one in both?)

More to the point, Dodgyville appears to have disappeared down a wormhole. Hope he's OK!

What does Tarrant need to find out Servalan’s reason for being on the planet ‘before’ he kills her?

She won't be able to explain much afterwards, so technically, it's a logical decision. In reality, there's no way he (or anyone else) is going to kill Her.

Technicalities, technicalities……

I do wish Doran had joined the crew. He's so much more fun than the girls, and would soon cut Tarrant down to size.

Yes Doran is a good character, isn’t he?
