Thanks, Joe. So sorry to hear that. He gave us two memorable characters to remember.

Such a fine actor who could play comedy and drama with equal conviction. A great guest player on B7. RIP uncle Fred

Actor John Savident has passed away. Known for his roles on Blake's 7, as Fleet Warden Samor in 'Trial' and for Egrorian in' Orbit'. He was 86 years old. RIP John.

I've just learnt that John Savident's mother was Swiss. Her maiden name was Pfrinder, which is not a million miles away from a certain assistant to Egrorian.

Another sad loss.

RIP belated two years. So memorable for those two roles!!! His declamations in Trial are haunting me right now. Previously, I spent more time on Orbit, but he has that (realistic for the role) ugliness in the series D part, and I've recently spent more time with Trial, which is a revelation anew each viewing. Another great artiste of an actor.

Now look, I've tangled with just about every ugly in the book since I got involved with you lot, but I draw the line at Space Rats. Well, they have no respect for life. They're based on an ancient Earth sect of unbelievable viciousness.
