Personally, I don't think this is one of the 'greats'. It's a weird mix of ideas, with Orac yet again playing the villain, since Blake is nowhere to be found and Servalan has taken the week off. But I expect some of you will think it's the best episode ever. I look forward to you explaining why. In which poor old Vila is used as the canary in the coal mine again, and Cally discovers that fairy tales aren't quite so endearing when they come to life. See you there! Tarrant trying to pretend he's in control? My Tarrant theory is that, being ex Space Command, he expects a well-defined chain of command. Faced with the bickering, chaos and anarchy on the Liberator, he automatically takes charge himself. So yes, he thinks that he's in control - but the others (especially Avon) do not agree. |
