I've got mixed feelings on this really. Yes, I would like to see the show back on TV (I assume we're talking a tv reboot here), but with 3 major stars of the show no longer with us and no Terry or Chris to write it or give it direction, would it be the same show I remember from my childhood or essentially just a brand new sci-fi show? |

Watching Glynis as Servalan would be very entertaining. Well, it calls to mind Brian Eno's 'Oblique Strategies' approach whereby, among other things, he'd get the bands he was producing to swap instruments once in a while. (Explains why Carlos Alomar ended up playing drums on Bowie's 'Boys Keep Swinging', for instance.) I reckon, if Brian had been given the reins of B7, he might have tried shaking things up with an episode where, for instance: Paul D played Vila Gareth T played Travis Jacqueline P played Cally Jan C played Jenna Sally K played Servalan David J played Blake Michael K played Avon Stephen G played Gan. |

I've got mixed feelings on this really. That's all a bit gender-stereotyped isn't it? Why not do what we do here for play readings and draw character names out of a hat?
