"By the Sword Divided" was a good one. From memory Gareth is only in about three episodes of the second series, but it's an enjoyable show in it's own right.

I got to talk to Gareth about By the Sword Divided and he said the final sword fight took a week to film and each night he came back to the hotel completely knackered from the physical exertion. He did however have enough energy to make it into the hotel bar though.... Bless him.

It's sad watching this to think that both Gareth and Ruth Madoc are no longer with us.

Yes — Gareth was in Series 2, episodes 7, 8, and 9. It’s stirring stuff and very well done all ‘round. The whole thing is worth watching, actually. Julian Glover stars in Series 1, and plays a hero for a change!
