Not really 'bugs' but two thing that I noticed.

1. The Hugbot smiley ;X seems to have vanished! Sad
2. After posting a comment, I am not automatically redirected to the thread but have to actively click on "Return to thread". This might be a little cumbersome during rewatches.

My experience has been that this works.... but takes a long time, so clicking on 'return to thread' will be your friend during rewatches.

Is the navigation menu on the left of the screen jumbled up for everybody or is it just that I’m in an iPad? By jumbled up I mean that some of the links are on top of other links. Photo gallery/categories, search/round up , submit news/download, to be precise.

Hi Annie, welcome back!

It might be to do with the size window you're looking at on your iPad - I think this happens if there are a lot of tabs open, and/or have enlarged the window (Supreme Commander had a similar problem yesterday). See if you can adjust the size. Otherwise, Website Mutoid should be able to advise later.

Thanks for reporting it. It's caused by viewing the site in too small a screen area. The theme we are using makes it much easier for people using their phones to use the site, but it may also be responsible for "scrunching" navigation text when zoom is set too high, or the screen on which the site is being viewed is of a smaller size. It should not occur on a larger screen, or if screen magnification is reduced. It's a cosmetic glitch, however, and should not affect site functionality.

Brad is correct. The site does auto-return you to the thread, but it's actually quicker to click the return button yourself. Grin

Ahh I forgot about the site smileys, fantastic. As I recall did the old site have limits on how many smileys it could store? Or was that on the old, old site.. Memory is not what it was..

Would love to see some more added, when time permits of course

Hi -- the left side menu text is also jumbled up or squeezed together in Safari, whether on a iPad or laptop.

Vargas
Hmm it looks ok on mine.

Old Elitebook 8740 Windows 10, Chrome Browser, will check on other browsers

That's strange. I can see it without glitches in Safari on both iPad and iPhone. What's your screen resolution?

I've just noticed that when I go to FORUM, I can only see the Cast and Crew thread if I'm signed in.

Thanks for alerting us, Deva.
It's now been opened for public (and lurker) viewing!

Looks okay on HP Laptop (using AMD Radeon) Windows 10 with MS Edge browser.

Just remembered why I don't use Edge, seems to take ages to render a page that Chrome processes in a second

There's no pagination. If I want to read page 2 I have to go back to the sun-forum main page and press the link there instead of having the pages linked in the thread.

eta yes there is. I was looking at a thread that wasn't long enough. Curse you Perry the platypus.

I apologise in advance as I dont know where to ask my question?
But how can I add a photo to a thread I've created if the photo is saved on my laptop?

ADMIN - feel free to move this question to an appropriate sections as you see fit

Thanks in advance

Usually you need to host the image on a site like Imgur.

https://imgur.com/

These sites usually have a direct link for use on forums. As well as other platforms

Setting up an account is free, and I find Imgur pretty reliable and ad free

Vargas has it. Open a free imgur account, upload your image. Once it's on your Imagur page, bring it up, right click on it, click 'Copy Image Address.' Go to Horizon. In the quick reply box where you post your comment, right click and click 'paste.' Then highlight the image url you just pasted and click on the little picture icon below the quick reply box.

When you are done, it should look like this in your reply box (before you click Post).

Is it just me or does the site run a little slow at times?

This is the only site where slow page displays happens. Other forums, and sites of all kinds pages appear instantly, just this site a selected page seems to render with a few seconds delay.. Not a biggie just wondering if it is a reported issue?

The forum is definitely running slow. I haven't personally noticed any other issues. Admin is aware of the issue.
