The episode: You choose! The date: Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 The time: 7.45pm UK time Please vote for your choice. I've gone for the three episodes that feature his Travis the most. He's only in a couple of scenes of Deliverance (despite character building stuff regarding Maryatt) and he's not really a central character in Orac either - plus an extra filled in for Stephen in the studio scenes after he picked up a sports injury. The episode: Albert Eight – Duel (Carry On Throwing Nuts) The date: Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 The time: 7.45pm UK time In which Blake and Travis attack each other with blunt sticks; Sinofar forgets a key piece of clothing; we have Blake and Jenna sitting in a tree, doing N-O-T-H-I-N-G, much to Jenna’s annoyance; and Avon gets all the best lines. Oh, and EVERYONE LIVES for the only time in B7, after Sinofar brings Kia-ora The Mutoid (she’s too orangey for crows) back to life. Episode in a word: FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Characters to cheer: I feel so sorry for poor Kia-ora The Mutoid – such a sympathetic character for a blood sucking fiend. And, of course, as this is a tribute rewatch to Stephen, I'll also be cheering on Space Commander Travis and hoping he defeats the terrorist Roj Blake on this occasion. Character to boo: Blake. Sorry, it quite often seems to be Blake, for some reason. But he's totally deserving on this occasion. Kiss the girl, for goodness sake! Is Soolin looking lovely this week?: Yes. Is Space Commander Travis looking suave and handsome this week: Of course! Recognisable Face: Carole Royale (Kia-ora The Mutoid) was the lead character in the late 1980s sitcom “Life Without George”. Best line: “I have never understood why it should be necessary to become irrational in order to prove that you care, or, indeed, why it should be necessary to prove it at all.” Vote Og.

Duel is an excellent choice, and I will join you if I can. I think Stephen said it was his favourite episode, and he especially enjoyed working with director Douglas Camfield. Stephen even suggested one of the shots on location (the red sun through the trees) and was very pleased that Doug agreed to film it. There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

Hi all, happy new year update on my health Yes I had COVID for the 1st time,after about 4 days Dr sent me to hospital. Chest infection and I have heart problems. After nearly 10 hours in waiting room,got pneumonia or pleurisy, they not sure. Don't know if chest infection or heart (pulmonary oedema) caused it. Got to have another echo on heart. Up to 2 weeks. Saying this not for sympathy,but after all the well wishes,thought I say. I'm on antibiotics and steroids tablets aswell as my pumps. Still got to go to work next week. As I said not to bring anyone down  P.s I lost weight,some some positive,lack of appetite. Lol I plan to live forever,or die trying.

I think it is The New Forest. just up the road from me. Any idea where? It could be near Rhinefield House or even near to the Sir Walter Tyrell (?) neat Rufus Stone....no doubt a pub would have been nearby. Maybe we could do a pub crawl until we find the right place!!! Well, thank goodness I can make it tonight. It was a close run thing. Domestic issues are running my life at the moment. But I set that aside for the next hour to pay tribute to a wonderful actor who brought this great character to life.
