Alpha Grade Posts: 1622 Joined: 16.01.22	The episode: Derek Ten - Gold (Carry On Photocopying) The date: Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 The time: 7.45pm UK time A reminder of the Season Derek drinking game, with one special addition for this episode: Here’s the number of sips/swigs per each of these: Avon is knocked unconscious 1 A scientist dies/is already dead (per scientist) 5 A member of the main cast wears the same costume as last week (per costume) 2 There’s the sequence (or part of the sequence) of Scorpio landing / taking off at Xenon Base 3 Vila drinks something red (per scene) 10 Tarrant falls in love 5 Soolin shoots someone (per person) 5 Slave says “sorry” (each mention) 1 Each mention of “Sleer” 2 Avon laughs manically and/or smiles inappropriately 5 There’s a downbeat ending in sharp contrast to the jangly end theme 10 The final shot of the episode includes Paul Darrow 3 A member of the main cast is killed or stunned (per cast member) 1 bottle of wine / 1 can of beer There's a shot of the bottom of a certain blonde, lady gunslinger (per shot) 10 Back to the episode, and join us for a wonderful heist story, in which the crew have descended into common criminality… which was always going to happen at some point. Plus Roy Kinnear plays an old friend of Avon… so his character is obviously doomed! And there’s a mysterious ex-president in high heels… who could it be? Meanwhile, I will reward handsomely anyone who manages to get a photocopy of Soolin’s bum – I’ve got 18 billion of ‘valuable’ Xerox (as opposed to Xerok) currency to give away. Episode in a word: Criminals. Character to cheer: Soolin is so cool and wonderful in this one. Although some of that is while she’s killing innocent security guards. So maybe there’s no-one to cheer here. Character to boo: Avon for getting out-manipulated by that mysterious ex-president in high heels. I who she is? Is Soolin looking lovely this week: Yes. Recognisable Face: Roy Kinnear was a character actor who starred in many, many films. I always remember him for his part in Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. Best exchange: AVON: “Why pick on us?” KEILLER: “You have a ship for the getaway. And a reputation for daring.” TARRANT: “Which you heard about where?” KEILLER: “Oh, I've known Avon, long time. We're old friends...” TARRANT: “That's not what I asked.” KEILLER: “On the grapevine, my friend. You're getting to be big news.” Blake's 7 will return in “Carry On Dieting.” Vote Og.

But the good news is......HE'S PUT THE HEATING ON!!!! Yay. But I'll still have a blanket, hot mug of tea, biccies and choccie 'cos it is still a bit chilly in this 'ere 'allway!!!! Hopefully, by next week I'll have one of those hooded blankets from Snuggle and I'll be really nice and toasty. So to the episode... I've been watching the Man From Uncle and both Nappy and Illya shoot an awful lot of nasty Thrush chaps. I started watching the Expenables last week and had to turn it off...it was just soooo violent. Anyway, I need your advice. I have just aquired an old fibreglass Troll/Gnome planter.
