There is no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes

Tyce
Anybody here???

AnneArthur
Hi Tyce I'm here! Back from my holiday, and actually solvent for once, and looking forward to an enjoyable episode.

Tyce
Hi AnneArthur, Looks like it might be just you and I? Do we want to proceed or hold off till next week?

So good to hear. Ok then let’s do it. :-)

I like this beginning.

Yes good isn’t it.

AnneArthur
All the details of radio signals and so on, and the attempted assassination.

AnneArthur
Tarrant immediately interested on learning of the war, but doesn't tell the others why.

Tyce
That Deeta Tarrant is clever.

Tyce
I love this scene with Vila.

AnneArthur
I like 'Space, the final frontier . . .' Very tongue in cheek. And the broadcaster - very Alan Partridge!

It would be nice to know more about him.

Tyce
I do like Vila’s table full of cocktails.

It's good, isn't it? And all the snacks that suddenly appear.

Yes, and it will be nice to have two Tarrants in multiple episodes. LOL

The Max-Deeta exchanges are interesting, but Max really is a hopeless diplomat.

You're not going get an argument from me!

I don;t like Avon's outfit with those epaulettes - although someone on Tuesday will no doubt say that it's very soft.

Yeah, I get the feeling that it was one of those outfit designs that worked better in theory and practice.

AnneArthur
Tarrant finally confesses to having a brother, when he can't hide it any more.

Yes. It would look quite good as a design, but clunky in practice.

I rather like the sci-fi aspects of this story. They're not overdone, but they feel quite like a natural progression from where we are at the moment.

Very true

This reminds me of travelling through London on Wednesday. Everyone was expecting it to be very crowded with people coming to see the queen's coffin travelling to Westminster Hall, but away from the route, the city was as quiet as I have ever seen it.

AnneArthur
A lot of serious epaulettes in this episode!

Yes it’s obviously the episode for them.

AnneArthur
And the battleground is a decaying factory. What a surprise . . .

Servalan doesn’t need to wear one of those circle things, she already knows who’s going to win.

AnneArthur
Does Vinni know he's an android? You would have thought letting people into his head would give away the fact that he's not human.

No he doesn’t know.

And she's enjoying every minute of it - especially the bonus appearance of Avon.

No he doesn’t know.

But he has no fear at all. He just thinks that he's so good that no-one can touch him?

AnneArthur
These Tarrants are such idiots - he could have had him there.

AnneArthur
Graceless thing, this android.

Yes, life and death situation and still he wants to give the other guy a sporting chance.

AnneArthur
Poor Dayna, never gets to kill Servalan.

The Code of the Tarrants . . .

Pilot53 says hi. He’s had a few technical problems and is sorry he missed the rewatch.
