All set to serve up the second portion of our freaky Greeky treat-y… Don’s gone but for how long? Will un-Leela appear at the Fringe? Will Peter Egan ever have to learn a line? Will someone shove the bouzouki player’s instrument in the one place in the Aegean where the sun don’t shine? Will Demis Roussos get a walk-on role and cause an eclipse? Will we meet a donkey called Hotay? Will M’dea make Jason king and will she actually recognise Michael Sheard? Will OSP learn a third word of Greek, or a second word of English? Will AA turn up on time twice in a row – bearing in mind once in a row set some sort of record? Will Cygnus Bouzouki squeeze yet more mileage out of his, frankly, masterful Sheard on/Sheard off joke? Should have added that, sadly, ep 2 isn't called The Man in the Bowler Hjat! after all. Its much more pedestrian title is A Time Out of Mind. But it features someone who actually was in Doctor Who, bolstering the tenuous sci-fi credentials of this rewatch. The same bloke played opposite Ingrid Pitt in an episode of 'Thriller'. I'm sure he had a couple of fond memories of that. |
