It's the first new fan fiction (that isn't a ficlet) submitted to Horizon for a while, and by a writer new to our Fan Fiction section. New Identities, by Ian Armstrong comes in four parts, and contains some creative ideas to solve, if that's the right word, some of the enduring mysteries of the TV series. It's almost bound to cause controversy among Blake's 7 fans, so why not read it and comment here (no spoilers, please). I'm sure Ian would love to know what you think. I have read a page or so and I’d like to read the whole thing in the near future because it’s very interesting as an idea and as a story. I think a bit of stylistic polishing wouldn’t hurt, for instance, IMHO, Servalan wouldn’t ask the question “What if...” twice, and she wouldn’t really ask it at all because the answer is trivial. She didn’t call Carnell to ask what to do in that case, but to determine whether that may be the case. She’d be more likely to ask something like: “...could I be wrong, and why?”, or “... what are the odds that I’m wrong?”, or “But even if I know him better, I’m not a psycho-strategist - you tell me if I’m missing something.” |

I couldn't get past Part One. The link to Part Two at the bottom of Part One triggered a warning: Prevented a XSS attack through a GET variable! |

ORAC: I would strongly advise against hovering your mouse too near that. I must warn you that it is a defense mechanism generated by the ship's computers. Please, gentlemen, I must earnestly implore you not to click that link anymore. It is extremely dangerous. Don't panic Orac, its just typo in the link and the site security interpret it as an attempt to inject kinda executable code in the site.
