Rewatch Downunder, Saturday 12th July, C2 Powerplay
M1795537OCVirn
Start times: Downunder 7.30pm (AEST), UK 10.30am (BST)

C2 Powerplay
What can I say? Avon and Dayna get married, Curly turns out to be a traitor and a killer, Vila and Cally find themselves having polite conversation with Servalan, and the title of the episode makes sense when the new President demands - and gets - special treatment. Mind you, it's a good thing she does, because without her, the rest of the series would make no sense whatsoever. Enjoy.

Sorry I was late with this thread. It's been a busy week.

Hi Guys, Sorry I can’t make it today because I’m out to dinner. Such a shame because this is the week that Blake and Jenna come back, destroy the Federation and live happily ever after. :-) Cheers Tyce

Well good evening, all. Forget Mark Rylance, forget Laurence Olivier...the world's greatest actor, the wonderful Michael Sheard is in da house!
I look exactly as Avon reasoned I would.

Tarrant knows how to give orders. Klegg isn't pleased. They didn't listen when he introduced himself.

I have already started Smile
Sorry.

You were doing it correctly. Aussies don't know how to tell the time.

As world demonstrates again and again, happily ever after is in fairy tales only.

Vila can command. It is a pity he doesn't have a chance to do that on the Liberator.

M1795537OCVirn
Clegg is such a great name for the character. In the UK, clegg is the name for a horrible biting fly. He's very cleg-like!

I'd have more sympathy for him if he wasn't so focused on himself.

Vila doesn't want to command. Neither does Avon. This young curly-headed guy thinks he wants to, but huh.

Series Charlie really is B7 goes to Yorkshire. Next time I'm visiting family in the UK I really should go to some of these locations. They're all within about a 30 min drive.

Dayna expects too much from herself.
The way Avon told that this was his ship...
Interesting, what would he do, if Blake appeared?

Yes, Vila and Tarrant are my least favourite members of the crew. I like all of them, actually, but that's the way it is. Vila is at the end of the list for me.

Oi! The only purpose Lancashire and Cumbria serve is to keep the rain off Yorkshire!

When you do return to the UK, if you fancy a day trip, do drop in - I'm near Ambleside..

Aww, thank you. We might just. My (Aussie) wife has never been to the Lake District. We try to visit somewhere new for her everytime we come over.

Otley, in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire. Anne Arthur probably knows it coming from York. Coming from Otley means I literally grew up in the shadow of the volcano from Volcano (aka Almscliffe Crag).
