Leylan's singing his new hit.

Yep. LOL It’s in Sweden, this year, too! Exactly 50 years since Waterloo won. I’m desperate for a ticket, but I don’t seem to be having much luck.

I remember it so well because we were on the high seas at the time and the BBC World Service kept us abreast of everything going on in the music world.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Out of context, but 'I've had worse offers.' ... 'Good' makes me laugh.

Looks like something out of a packet of cornflakes.

That’s a bit mean. LOL

Very nice, Obsidian. What is the design on the piece at the top of the photo? Is it a thistle?

It's an Ottoman tulip – Seraglio Designs. Get it?

It's been said before, but I do wish we'd seen more of this feisty Jenna.

The problem is, she becomes the pilot, which is rather a static role.

Until Tarrant takes over, when it becomes all about being very dashing in all directions.

Still laughing about something from Tueday's rewatch of this - apparently they're wearing life-support bras.

I agree. Was thinking just that when it was only possible to see the rounded tops of the tanks. Some new burlesque outfits I thought to meself.

No doubt that like Travis, he'd be described as a 'good officer'.

Worst part is those ‘bras’ work better on the men than on Jenna. On Jenna it leaves the oxygen tank and communicator, or whatever they are placed very ‘awkwardly’ and giggling about.

Well, thanks for the rewatch. See you next week for an unimaginative take on religion, and Brian Blessed being Brian Blessed.

Then most of them stopped bothering to think and just followed Blake's lead.

I've still got some in a jar somewhere. A lot of them used to be made in Australia, apparently.

So sorry to hear about your mother, AnneA. A very sad time. I hope the coming week isn't too stressful. Take care. Mx

It was a company name made up of two long surnames. I'm blanking at the moment and just thinking "R & L", but the real company name was something like Rosencrantz & Lichenstein.

He doesn't start doing that until series 3, though - and even then he has problems with Tarrant. Grin

Sadly no. I asked SoA to keep me updated, but the silence is deafening. Even when I ask questions, I get minimal reply. I’m not sure what else to do.

Nothing at my end. Completely by chance, when I was buying a piece of vintage stuff for my Residence 1 replica desk, the seller mentioned that we should try to get the Sirens people to latch onto Supernova or Aus ComicCon to bring her out, instead of trying to go it alone. Must check them out. Apparently, AusComicCon is under new management. I must check out both organisations.

Nah, It's throwing it down over there. For once, we have some dry weather here. Also, I'd better start writing my Christmas thank you letters. Have a great week, everyone!

Sounds fun! And much less costly than trying to replicate the dining hall.

There's a big console on the flight deck of the London, which was originally a laser cannon in the Roger Moore James Bond film, "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974).

The panels on the back wall are from a 1960s computer called an ICT 1301. Panels for the ICT 1301 not only turn up on the London, but also appear in various Doctor Whos, a couple of James Bond movies, the Muppets, Doomwatch, and The Pink Pather Strikes Again. Screrenshots can be seen here.
