I like Servalan's dress with the big buttons.

Me too. It has a nice 'military' look. I love that she's still playing with the flower Carnell gave her. Feels like that's some puppeteering going on behing the scenes...

I like the style but not the buttons: too flat, too cheap and plasticky.

Grin I know what you mean. Real mother-of-pearl would be better.

Servalan, not Sevalan, FFS!

That is a very 'Thunderbirds' landing.

Yes, I think that every time I see it!
There are a few good things in this ep, but it's such a mess.

Space Patrol got there first.

They've survived neglect in homes and offices throughout the world - why not Space?

The thing I don't like, I think, is that it appears very dated, stylistically. The pot plants scream 1970s.

Some Artemisia too.

Few people ever get to eat the fruit off Monstera. It is indeed deliciosa!

I didn't know that! I don't think the one in my bathroom will be producing any fruit any time soon.

Surely you of all people should realize that rebellion is futile? The Federation is immutable - the decor is the only thing that can be changed.

Well, if, as a rebel, I'd seen that ep, I would have chucked it in.

It's not that I don't like the episode, it just seems unfinished and dissatisfying somehow. As Travisina was saying earlier, it could have been more. I'm always left with the feeling of dissatisfaction.

Oh gosh yes! Great, long phallic fruit. They need a subtropical climate at least to do that, something that AnneArthur's bathroom might provide.

I have no doubt that your rebellion is futile. I was merely expressing surprise at your priorities, rebel. How can you ever expect to win, when you're so easily distracted?

Thanks for the company, everybody. I shall now go away and think about pot plants.

Have a good rest of the weekend, folks!
M...Virn - thanks for the sticky email and pictures! I'll reply properly later, have to dash out now - errands to run...

An enjoyable rewatch for a dodgy episode. Yes, Gambit next time. It's an odd one as well. I just like it for the dress-ups.

It's the certain prospect of re-education camps that we need to be distracted from!

Nice to see you all! I suspect that my weekend is likely to involve watching Rafael Nadal win the French Open for the fourteenth time. I am beginning to wonder if he is one of those Vinni-type androids!

Have a good week, and see you next time.
