I like to imagine a future where they are collector's items, sold for thousands of credits each.

We're already there, aren't we?

YAY! My daughter has just completed the first 12km of her London - Brighton (100km) charity walk. Made it to the first checkpoint.

Well done her!

How long to they expect it to take?

Till tomorrow sometime. Walking most of the night,

Walking all night is a bit not fun. Are they walking on roads/footpaths?

Both, but avoiding roads most of the time.

Let's hope for good weather then.

Oh well, back to another day when it looks as though it won't be warm enough to put on one of my summer skirts. I'm getting sick to death of jeans!

Well, I enjoyed that. It's a good story. There are some slightly daft things like the space craft sitting in a cradle in a shiny white room, but I always enjoy how it moves the whole story on in different ways – lots of avenues to explore. And Paul Shelley is a good baddie, if you catch my drift.

Yes, it's a pity he didn't hang around for a few more episodes.

And with that, I'm signing off. Have a fun week everyone. Due to the aforementioned Walk, I have the house to myself for the weekend (other half has gone as support team). I may join Pilot in a binge-watch, or actually do some gardening, or... who knows?

Great company, medium-rated episode ( since Servalan isn't even mentioned) , hope to see you all again next time.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

I always like that episode. As Obsidian says, it opens up a lot of avenues.

I know what you mean Anne. We barely had Summer here. Maybe two days. Temperatures were mainly cool and it rained interminably. Winter is about to start and it doesn't seem all that much different. Sad

I hope things are better in the south as I'm not planning on bringing my Winter wardrobe to the UK with me in July.

There's just no pleasing you, is there? Wink

Er, should have added, enjoy having the house to yourself and have a great week! See you next time MsVirn.

I need to get into the garden to do some planting, between rain showers. Still, there's always the tennis to binge-watch!

It sounds as if it is warmer in the south. Friends in London were even complaining about the lack of rain, whereas here we've had rainstorms every other day (or so it seems <insert little Avon-style twinkle here>Wink.

Not many here I notice?🤔🤔 where is everyone? Hiding????

Travisina is racing about trying to keep everyone happy, safe and well, as usual. Or maybe she's having her hair/teeth/nails done. Tyce is living it up on her ABBA jaunt in the UK, Mrs Bookmark often has family commitments on Saturdays. (Awaiting further surveillance reports).

Ha ha, you weren't far wrong!

I was racing about doing errands for the in-laws in the town centre (bank is only open until noon), then meeting a friend for coffee, then having my hair done.
This was further complicated by not risking my car on short journeys (problem with suspension, I think - but can't get it looked at until 9th June) - so I walked into the town centre, got a lift with my coffee-friend to my hairdresser, and walked home from there. Total 6km walking. Not remotely in the same league as MsVirn junior, though...

Yes, it's a pity he didn't hang around for a few more episodes.

It's said that they were actually considering him to play Avon's brother, but decided that having two actors called Paul playing two characters called Avon would be too confusing!

Hello MS Virn and Obsidian, here I am, late as usual, wrestling with feline disappointment as usual! Sorry Travisina can't be here.

As not an answer to the question, it always surprises me that we don't meet more people who know Vila. He strikes me as the sort of person who would have quite a network of useful associates. I wonder if he is deliberately keeping them from the others?

It's very curious, and raises all sorts of questions. Big Finish introduced Vila's dad (played by David Warner) in the Liberator Chronicles - I thought those stories were rather good, but I would say that, wouldn't I?

In the Big Finish story 'The Armageddon Storm', Del Grant returns - with that teleport bracelet.
