Yes indeed - but while that works perfectly for Servalan and her understanding of Avon's character, it is too subtle for Blake, or at least for Blake as Avon knew him. |

Actually, if the Liberator was in good condition and the team stayed on the ship, it would have been better. At least I think so. We also see that Avon likes Blake, but knows perfectly well that he can't sacrifice the ship. |

Servalan overacts when tries to act surprised. I like this episode but there are a few moments where the danger is explained in the dialogue rather than through the acting - "He really would have killed you!", for example. |
