There's room for a fanfic in there - how the prophesy came about etc etc.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

For reasons I won’t bore you with - I tried to play a tape cassette the other day. I scrounged up several cassette players and found that only one player worked. The other two were completely defunct, and the sound quality of the cassette on the remaining player was atrocious. With that in mind, I seriously doubt that a rocket could be launched 1000 or so years after it had been built. |

Or are there people in cryogenic suspension with them, as with the aliens in Time Team? |

Excellent question. So they probably had a system more like freeze drying? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

That ending seems rather abrupt, considering the ones we get later. But perhaps they're already thinking about Aristo and Phibians.

Right. The dog is bored, I'm cold and there's washing-up to be done. Time I moved on, folks. But I'll be back...if nothing else, to see if anyone 'solves' the WORD today. Honestly, I don't think it could be much easier... Enjoy your last bit of summer, Tyce. Hopefully the Northern Hemisphere will remember that spring (and summer) are supposed to be warm. Hope you have some good 'me' time, AnnA. How's the Will translating going? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Hope you have some good 'me' time, AnnA. How's the Will translating going? The will translating hasn't really got off the ground, as I have had three days of teaching last week. I'm planning to start it in earnest after Easter, and spend next week finishing up old projects and resting. Hope the weather improves - at the moment it is bright and sunny, but with a biting wind when you get outside. Have a good week, everyone! |
