The Bobbsy Twin outfits for Avon and Soolin are also really smart.

Very cute. Now we won't get confused about who is on which side.

Khaki with sparkles. Perfect for barren planets.

I like Soolin's amusement when Avon says that he is prepared to sacrifice her. She is a match for him, and knows it.

Why does that base have a teleport bay? Sorry...why did that base have a teleport bay?

Did Dorian not build it for the teleport he was developing.

Ah, of course. I'd forgotten we were on Xenon.

Ok, who wrote the soppy Zeeona/ Tarrant music?

Soppy music for a soppy relationship?

That's the killer thing about it, though. It looks soppy and it sounds soppy. Are we sorry?

How do you mean sorry?

About what happens to it.

Well, it's Tarrant, so yes, I do, on the whole.

For me, it's one line he doesn't get quite right. I didn't believe him, so why should she?

He's an interesting character. I like his speech about Betafarl's permanent day - he clearly wasn't born there, but seems to have conquered it. It would be interesting to know in what circiumstances.

Oh come on Soolin could shoot all those guards in a space of three seconds, without even blinking.

Servalan looks good in that frock. Her make-up is a bit shiny though.

Soolin is interesting in this ep. She's tough, clearly equal to Avon; supports him but also thwarts him when she believes she's seeing injustice.

And it's the end for Betchworth quarry, too.
So sad!

If Zukan is complaining about the bad dreams, he has when he does nasty things and why doesn’t he just stop doing nasty things?

Such a pity she didn't have time to develop the character further.

Opening the airlock really shouldn't do that to Zukan's ship - very poorly designed, I think. But perhaps the bomb exploded as he was expelling it?

Which is what 'madness' is all about, really. Alternative wiring.

Actually, current thinking is that it's not exactly the whole story. Environmental, or exogenous, effects are what affects the majority of us 'mad' folks, rather than endogenous.

Before we all head off, I need to ask if anybody has looked at my friend’s illustration on the advent calendar thread? I would love to give him some feedback. (preferably positive feedback)

The moral of the episode? PPE is important, folks.
Right, then. Not much point watching the last bit of B7, since Servalan isn't in it.

I think it's more a case of someone has to make a decision about something because headless-chickendom will affect them all.

Avon's hair is a bit too black, and not blowing romantically in the wind, but otherwise it's fun and captures the mood quite well.

It is, and Zeeona's gruesome end is an indicator that things are unlikely to get any better. There's such foreboding in it that the jaunty Series D/4 music seems rather tasteless.
