Is that the same dress as in Warlord?

No. This dress has twinkles down the front. The Warlord dress is dead plain with no folderoles.

I would have thought any sort of 'signal' added to an android skull would cause problems with interference, unless the techies were VERY clever. Or had access to the resources of the whole Federation. So whose idea/design was the android?

Good point, although twinkles are easily removed. I think the Warlord one had spaghetti shoulder straps, too, come to think of it.

Always assumed that it was one of Servalan's pet scientists. But saying something was inscribed on the skull doesn't mean that the android has it, only the human competitors.

It does. It's very spare – and very beautiful for it.

But Vinnie wasn't human. He had to transmit a signal for Dayna to follow his side of the duel.

They must have been dripping inside. I mean 'they' the chaps, rather than 'they'... you know what I mean.

Help! I'm being attacked by a purring kitten who thinks I should be playing with her. And the dog has now brought three toys for me to throw.

Servalan is always scrupulous when things affect her rule and/or safety.

How to get a Tarrant - right in the chivalry. Servalan is taking notes here, which she will put to good use later.

It's one of the few times the writers remembered that.

Chris Boucher remembered. He wrote Shadow as well, where Cally gets a good showing.

Well people it’s been fun but it’s time to go. :-( See you next week.

...and live to fight another day.

Feeling a bit Terminal at this end. Britbox here has pulled B7 and, what's more, they did it right in front of my eyes, the BEEPS. Got to send them a rude email.

Great episode yet again. Yes, Boucher was the best. Kitten now fast asleep on my other arm - having to type with one hand.
Hope you all have a good rerst of your weekend. Definitely autumnal here in the UK. Although the 'south' is staying warm, apparently. The north not so much.

Awwww.

Enjoy your week MsVirn. I hope to be back for The WORD this week after getting most of the post-big project mess out of the way.

It's the second time it gets used, which is why, I think, Tarrant prefaces it with "As ever, Dayna..."

Chris Boucher does that several times throughout the show where he slips in a line, repeats it later then drops it. "Scruffy bag of bolts" is another one and there are a few others. Avon's "X or Y, the choice is yours" is another.
