It is a serious question, and I’m very worried about him.

Orac is prescient, naughty little box. It might have foretold everything else that happens. I guess they didn't ask, the way Blake did.

Keril was taking a bit of a risk wasn’t she? Asking to go to a new planet, 3,000 light years away, with a race of people she knows nothing about including no idea what their culture is. In fact, the only thing she knows is there’s no civilisation there.

That may be because in the 1970's they weren't used to things like Alexa dictating their every move. It's more normal now to consult AI-like devices, and probably more so in the third calendar. But our heroes are all throwbacks to an earlier age, apparently.

Oh, that’s why I have a tug-of-war between my fandoms. I have Benny Anderson’s Red Cross ringtone. Which became the song Little Things on the ABBA Voyage album.

I dunno. I was just talking to my brother about it earlier – going back to live in the village in Syria where I'm happy with the dictatorship just in order to get away from the baloney of politics at every level here.

Nope! I’ll take crazy democracy over a dictatorship any day of the week.

Well, now, as Avon would say "You just had to ask".

I wouldn't trust my "device" to tell me anything because it's just a fascist capitalist running dog trying to sell me something – including ideological claptrap – I don't want.

There's crazy politics wherever there are people. We do it to ourselves.

Right, I'd better get going. A lovely way to start Saturday ( UK) but it means everything else has to wait. And now I'm playing catch-up.
Have a great week, both. Hope the collections are soon safely on their way, Obsidian.
See you next time for a proper episode with Servalan in it.

I would have liked one of those recordings that Peter Tuddenham did as Orac and Zen and Slave, but I'm happy with the B7 theme tune. It scares the genteel folk of David Jones (department store). Maybe you need 2 phones.

See you Ms Virn. I have a full week ahead and probably won't make next week's rewatch as I'm going to Sydney to do a photo shoot of jewellery before rushing back to pack it up and send it off. I hope the dispaly boxes arrived on time from Thailand...

If I don't see you both, I'll be back for ROD. Have a good week.

No. What we've got is a whole lot of little tin-pot generals running around beating their chests and only interested in grabbing power and making money and b****r the rest of you and the planet. Sad to say. I'd vote David Attenborough President any day.
