Rewatch Downunder Saturday 1st July C1 Aftermath

I seem to remember you commenting on Blake's ethics quite a bit, Avon.

AnneArthur
Funny little ship - is that Tarrant, or Klegg and co?

Avon looks exceptionally phwoah in that black shirt.

I was just about to say that. His best outfit of the series, IMO>

Certainly it's a fan favourite.

Huh. Lost the internet for a moment. Seems OK now. Ended up with a repeat post, which I've now deleted. Sorry.

Anyone else having trouble with the thread? It keeps giving me error messages.

Don't you just love the way Sevalan gets Avon to find her a drink!?

I've love how Servalan justifies her and Avon joining forces. Nice story, good thing he's not convinced.

OK, so we all had the same glitch. Does that mean we get to go back and watch it all over again?

Missed your chance, Avon! You might have proved yourself useful and been kept on, as a sort of interesting pet.

That is an amazing exchange between Avon and Servalan.

In a nice Holmegaard glass. They went through a lot of crème de menthe in B7.

She intellectualises the whole thing but forgets that Avon's intellect is greater than that of Jarriere.

Dayna can turn anything into a weapon.

M1795537OCVirn
There's a suggestion that Mallanby turned in his colleagues to save his own life and Dayna's. It certainly fits with what Servalan says about him being branded a coward.

Someone had fun designing a frock to appear 'fashionable' but look horrible on Servalan.

It is horrible, but I think that's the point because it highlights that lovely catty exchange between Dayna and Servalan.

I refuse to reveal my sources, on the grounds that they might incriminate me.

Not a great week for Servalan on the negotiation front.

You wouldn't be the first. I have encountered a story which suggests that it was Dayna's mother who sold them.

A little bit before this period I made a one-sleeved t-shirt with wide tape around the edge, just like this dress. A young bloke (teenaged, walking with younger teenaged partner and baby) told me to go home and get dressed.Smile

She's trying it for all she's worth. After all, she could get stuck there, she'd like to be the power that fills the vacuum, etc.

I wonder if one really could see a space battle from the ground? Wouldn't the armosphere get in the way, unless the battle was rather too close for comfort? Given the energies involved, I wouldn't want to stand in the open and watch it happen.
