Hi, Tyce! Nice to hear from you. Glad you're having a great trip. Thought I was going to be late today but then I remembered this is the Aussies we're talking about.

Are you making snide comments about how slack the Aussies are?? If so, that would be a fair comment. LOL

Not so much slack, as differently orientated about 'rules'.

Um… tact. Cool. LOL

The Federation Academy is big on tact. And about not so much bending the truth as not quite giving all of it.

So unlike anything that was happening in UK politics at the time.

I still think Thatcher had a hand in ending B7 and not allowing re-runs. Too many parallels with Servalan!

It's possible. Britain was generally a bit paranoid back then.

Not quite sure what I just cropped out then but, yes, we highly politicised university students were well aware of UK politics at the time. Made the viewing so much more enjoyable.

Very, but as we know, that's not surprising. That photo of Ian Scoones I think it is, working on Thunderbird 2 is so brilliant and he worked on B7 of course, doing the weapons, spacecraft etc.

Plants I have no problem with, but it was a particular 'thing'. Decorating with plants rather than "decorator items". As long as you don't have the (fashionable again) macrame.

EDIT: Sorry I chopped that somehow. Hand faster than the eye that time.

Macrame stuff is dreadful for gathering dust. And almost impossible to clean. Why do people like it so much?

The interesting thing is that he still has it, and I would have thought that they'd removed the activator before he went to trial. Travis does mention having Servalan give it back to him.

My house is full of what other people would call dust-collectors. It's the ethnographic stuff with mud and feathers and bits of string that's the worst. I did macrame as a teenager back in the early 70s and that was quite enough thanks very much.

From my memories of the seventies, it's fun to do, fairly easy, and you get results quickly. It's just the finished product that is the problem.

That was actually a better episode than I remembered. It's let down by poor production values, really - that, and not being able to get the same actor for Glynd again.
