Rewatch Downunder Saturday 25th March A13 ORAC

Being such a 'weak woman' is not like Servalan - maybe the trousers make her feel vulnerable?

AnneArthur
It's a pity Avon didn't make a little remote for ORAC - it's rather neat.

She's having a bad day, that's all. And it's going to get worse, I'm afraid.

Is this the only time we see Servalan wearing trousers?

Good question.

Their first encounter with Ensor. So polite! So British! Can't possibly tell him to shut up.

You know it’s kind of interesting with Orac. In the 70s they thought that the best most amazing super computers massively huge ones that took up a whole floor of a building. This thought that a small box could be so powerful is kind of ahead of its time.

I think it probably is. Someone in the Tuesday rewatch is bound to know. We should ask.

Maybe he does too . . .

They might tell us later . . .

How does Servalan know where they are on that map? Absolutely nothing is labelled.

See - Federation magnetic charges stay stuck. Not like Dayna's

It is. It can draw information from any other computer without a direct link - it sounded incredible then, but quite obvious now.

Ha ha ha I can't stop laughing at those 'maps'. Absolute gerbage. Why not use Google? Or has mapmaking somehow regressed in the Third Calendar?

Gan's good at looking poorly.

Just discovered an e-mail from Travisina from a short time ago - sends her apologies and says 'love to everyone and I'll catch up with the thread later'.

Love to Travisina.

Why isn't Travis writhing about on the ground in agony- he's had his hand blown up, for goodness sake.

It’s an artificial hand, so no pain.

Very high pain threshold?

Yes, but it had to be connected to his body somehow. Was his artificial hand before Darth Vader's? And at least it hurt when Darth and Luke got theirs blown off.

See you next week, when we will find out who built the Liberator. Nice to see you all.

It's a very cunning image for ORAC to show them - it will ensure its use to them.

So we're into Season 3 next. That must mean it's spring (UK) / autumn (Australia).
Servalan has a couple of weeks off to lie low after the Orac debacle, and spends it working out how to use Carnell to get Blake, Orac, and the Liberator.
Thanks for the company. See you next time.
